Matt Johnsons stay on the physically unable to perform list was a short one. The rookie safety, who was drafted on the fourth round, will have his name removed Monday, when the full team has its first training camp practice. Johnson, who was bothered by a hamstring injury, missed the three-day preliminary camp at Valley Ranch, where rookies, first-year players, quarterbacks and injured veterans worked out last week. Johnson, who will compete with Barry Church and Brodney Pool at the safety position not occupied by Gerald Sensabaugh, missed most of the Cowboys offseason program because he was finishing classes at Eastern Washington. Consequently, he didnt participate until the final day of the teams mini-camp in June. Somebody asked earlier about the importance of reps, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said last week. Matts behind in that regard. Hes doing everything he can to stay engaged with our team and understand what were trying to teach. Source: Dallas Morning News

The Cowboys signed free agent Mackenzy Bernadeau to be one of their starting offensive guards, but they really wont know what they can expect from him until they actually see him on the field. Bernadeau signed a four-year, $11 million contract in March, but in mid-May he had surgery to repair a tear in his right hip. Hes one of five players the Cowboys have placed on the physically...
America’s Team has lost its way in the last decade-plus. Most people recognize that, but it still means a lot for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to say that he pines for the return of the rich Cowboys traditions of the past. Part of that was when the Cowboys were winning playoff games and even Super Bowls. That’s not all of it, though. There’s more to the Cowboys mystique than...
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admits he is seeking glory hole days for his franchise, which last made the playoffs in 2009 and has won only two playoff games since its triumph over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX to close the 1995 season. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says cornerback Mike Jenkins seems to be buying in to the idea of being part of a strong cornerback rotation in his final season under contract to the team. Jenkins watched the club sign free-agent Brandon Carr and spend a first-round pick on rookie Morris Claiborne in the off-season, placing his starting job in jeopardy. Jenkins, who has reported for camp...
OXNARD, Calif. - We may never know who pulled what bra strap and we may never know if "striking someone in the face with a cap'' is a truly violent act or just a re-enactment of an old Lauren & Hardybit.

His boss is pissed about it.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed Tuesday...
Outspoken owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, said his team will beat the New York Giants this season. A big time, Lone Star whooping.
After his widely-ridiculed, off-the-wall comment about wanting "me some glory hole" the other day, Jones still hasn't stopped yapping out of that big hole in the middle of his face.
"Y' all should come down to Cowboys...
