According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams will be held out of Sunday night’s Hall of Fame game with a concussion and may not play in next week’s game against the Raiders.
Williams has had a pretty good camp so far. Like most rookie wide receivers he’s taking his time in getting used to the pro game.

Last night marked the beginning of the preseason and the beginning of a new era for the Dallas Cowboys. Their 24-20 win over the Miami Dolphins gives the coaches an idea of who deserves a shot to be on the roster.
• Running back Phillip Tanner had a huge game with 70 yards on 13 carries. He gashed the Miami defense all night long, continually breaking tackles.
Through the years, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former Oakland Raiders owner, the late Al Davis, let their pride get in the way of running successful and respected franchises. Serving as both owner and general manager, and calling all the shots, Jerry Jones is the face of the Dallas Cowboys just as Al Davis was the face of the Oakland Raiders. While everything is smoothed...
Holloman’s interception for TD
The Dallas Cowboys opened their 2013 preseason campaign with a 24-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins thanks to strong showings by their rushing attack and new look defense.
Wait the Cowboys won a game running the ball and playing defense?
Now, that didn’t happen all of last season.
Here is what the Cowboys can take from the game:

LeBron James has made a pretty nice career for himself, winning back-to-back NBA championships and collecting four regular-season MVPs. But would the Miami Heat superstar be as dominant if he took his talents to the NFL?
Dez Bryant certainly thinks so.
In a discussion with ESPNDallas.com, the Dallas Cowboys' mercurial receiver said the 6-foot-8, 250 pound James would...

CANTON, Ohio -- For newly-inducted Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Larry Allen, it was love at first bite.
"On our first date, she cooked for me," Allen said of his "heart-and-soul" Janelle in a speech that was one of the highlights of the Saturday ceremony in Canton. "She cooked me two chickens, french fries, baked me a cake and gave me a 40-ounce.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spent a large portion of the offseason talking about his team's playcalling situation and its highly paid quarterback. He also brought in Monte Kiffin and Rod Marinelli to revamp a defense that has annually been at bottom of the league in takeaways.
It will be impossible to make any evaluations on those decisions after Sunday's Hall of Fame game...
Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Nate Livings is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right knee and could miss the team's regular season opener according to the team's website. The surgery would be Livings' second surgery on the knee in six months.
The 31-year-old left guard will have his knee scoped which could keep Livings sidelined for up to four weeks. The Cowboys...
The Dallas Cowboys are suddenly so thin at offensive line, they grabbed a player who lives 10 minutes from training camp in California.
Good thing they at least had James Nelson in rookie camp in May, even if they chose not to sign him.
The Cowboys lost a pair of guards in starter Nate Livings and backup Kevin Kowalski during their second week of camp. Livings is out at least two...
As the Premier League season approaches, NBC Sports linked up with comedian Jason Sudeikis (Saturday Night Live, Hall Pass) to promote NBC’s Premier League coverage. Meet Coach Ted Lasso, an American football coach who has just been named the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
The video is entitled “An American Coach in London.”
He’s not just American, he’s Texan. So all...
Having never gotten a tattoo I don't know exactly what drives people to get them. A lot of people I do know with them got them in honor of something like a fallen friend, the name of the kid(s), etc. Many have also done so to show the love they have of their favorite sports team.
If the size of the tattoo is supposed to say anything (i.e. how much the person loves something...
You thinking spending that $200 on a NFL jersey makes you a big fan, you might want to rethink that. This guy here takes being a super fan to a whole new level with his Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl shrine on his back.
My only question for dude is when/if Dallas are able to win another Super Bowl where does he plan to put it?

CANTON, Ohio (AP) -- Rookie Devonte Holloman's 75-yard interception return with a tipped pass keyed the Dallas Cowboys' 24-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the Hall of Fame game Sunday night that opened the NFL's preseason.
The sixth-round pick from South Carolina was perfectly situated when rookie Chad Bumphis had Matt Moore's pass go off his hands in the second...
Today the NFL gets it's preseason started, when the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins square off in this years' Hall of Fame Game. Although, Tony Romo will not be playing, young star wide receiver, Dez Bryant will suit up. I'm guessing he will only get a few snaps, maybe just one series. All eyes will be on Dez, as expectations for the fourth year Cowboy are...
