Chad Ochocino once made headlines for beating a horse in a race. Then, Chris Johnson and Devin Hester got in on the human-vs-animal action by racing a cheetah for a Nat Geo Wild special. Now, Cowboys wide receiver Dwayne Harris revealed he has also turned to the animal kingdom to train and teat his athleticism. In an interview with ESPN Dallas during the Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, Calif., Harris revealed how he got in shape during the offseason: "I'd just go out, man, and look for stuff to run after," Harris said. "All kinds of stuff. Rabbits. Cats. Everything. Especially when I was back at home with my mom in Stone Mountain, Georgia. We live in the woods, so there was a lot of stuff running out there." But his scurrying around didn't stop with woodland creatures. Harris also got his 6-year-old pit bull, Polo, in on the action. "I'd chase after him because he doesn't want to come home," Harris said. "He's not as quick as he used to be, but he's pretty fast. He can run straight ahead." The animal wrangling resulted in Harris dropping eight or nine pounds. It may not seem like much to the average American, but for a professional athlete that ranked seventh in receiving yards for Dallas last year, he'll probably take all the help he can get. One can only pray that someone shot this special training on their iPhone. The world needs a Rocky II style training montage of this.
