Sports Illustrated asked 237 NFL players to name their least favorite commentator. Collinsworth was No. 1, but the list consists almost entirely of ESPN and NBC guys, which makes sense—most players are spared the others since they're all at work on Sunday afternoons. The current players are especially unkind to the players-turned-commentators. Whatever happened to camaraderie...

In his heyday, Cris Collinsworth the Bengal was a heckuva talent, evidenced by his 417 career catches and three Pro Bowl selections in Cincinnati.
Collinsworth the NFL broadcaster is a different story. He hasn’t been doing such a bang-up job, at least according to those who he analyzes and critiques on Sunday nights.
