A photo on the Facebook page of The Denver Post features a dejected-looking Tim Tebow looking like he is doing little more than staring at his shoelaces while moping around a parking lot. And with that, the out-of-work quarterback has spawned a new meme: Sad Tim Tebow. And if there is one troubled comic strip character who encompasses the down-on-his-luck, defeated presence of how Tebow appears in this photo, who would it be? No, not Hagar the Horrible. Charlie Brown. “AAUGH!” indeed. Courtesy of For the Win comes this delightful little video illustrating just how apt a comparison between Charlie Brown and Sad Tim Tebow really is: No, seriously, cue up Vince Guaraldi’s “Charlie Brown Theme” below and watch the video. And yes, that is the “Charlie Brown Theme.” You are probably thinking of the “Peanuts Theme,” which is an entirely different tune. Try and keep up, kids. Finally, the above video is only a taste of what is to come once those wizards who practice the dark art of Photoshoppery get their hands on this photo of Tebow. Good stuff is coming, folks. [H/T Deadspin] The post Cue the mopey music, because Sad Tim Tebow is the new Charlie Brown (photo) appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
