If Ware rests then someone else will have to fill the void.

Whether or not the Cowboys win against Tampa it really does not matter except for pride. Win and they have a chance at the playoffs, lose and it will be near impossible to make the playoffs. Dallas has literrlay one chance and making a playoff run. Now I am not talking about just making the playoffs. I am talking about making a showing in the playoffs. They way Dallas has been playing as of late any appearance in the playoff would spell disaster for Cowboys fans.

So what needs to happen in this game? What exactly do we need to see from Dallas to know if we as fans should get excited about any hope of a playoff success?

The Cowboys gain and score more, and allow fewer than the Bucs at almost every turn. Dallas even has a plus 15 turnover difference. There is no reason for Dallas to lose this game other than one thing, coaching. Coaching is something that has hampered the Cowboys in their last five games and it fits in line with my theory. The first third of games are decided mainly by talent, the middle third a mix of talent and coaching, and the final third is all coaching. Teams know tendencies, personnel, and schemes by this point in the season. Usually the better coaches win now, question is will it be the Cowboys staff secure for the next season or the Bucs staff who will lose their head coach on Monday.

Yeah this is a trap game. Dallas could easily flop on the road to a team with nothing to lose and one who is playing their final home game of the season. Dallas has injuries to key players, center Phil Costa, the leading receiver over the past several games Laurent Robinson, and even top defender DeMarcus Ware. Even with all of that the Cowboys should win. That will provide a glimmer of hope for Dallas fans only until next week. Or the Cowboys lose and they will be one game out of just playing for pride.

This game will be a great opportunity for the Cowboys to find themselves and prove they belong in the +.500 of teams in the NFL. It will also be a chance for the Cowboys to rest some key players in preparation for their final two games. If they rest players it could spell an early end to a season or be a brilliant move. All phases of the Cowboys game should be running full bore on Saturday night.
