Football Extra Points:
Tony Romo and the Cowboys missed the playoffs last season by losing the last game of the season. This offseason, part time General Manager Jerry Jones signed Romo to a huge long term extension. I think this decision was good for the teams cap situation and the best decision they could make at QB. Where else are they going to go? There are a lot of bad QB play in the NFL and there isn't anyone coming out in the draft this season. Romo takes a lot of heat but he's a solid top tier QB in the league right now. The Cowboys have to make the playoffs this season and make a run or Garrett is on his way out. Here's a first look at their schedule. Week 1 Giants - This is a great way to start the season, in division and against their hated rival. We'll see how both these teams are going to stack up this season. Cowboys win at home. Week 2 @ Chiefs - The Chiefs have a new coach, QB and attitude this season. I like the direction KC is headed but I don't thin...

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Demarcus Ware did not back pedal on a comment that he made directly after Tony Romo was awarded with a $108 million contract extension.
Ware just expanded upon it.

The 2013 NFL Draft is less than a week away, and it is a fine time to roll out a mock draft for the Dallas Cowboys. The consensus feeling in my gut is a heavily offensive line focus in the beginning. But let’s get to the picks.
18. Dallas Cowboys select: Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina
This should be a no brainer pick at 18. The Cowboys need a lot of offensive line help...
NFL fans probably could care less about Tyrann Mathieu, "The Honey Badger" who has had one huge downhill road. I see this as a comeback story to remember. Fans will miss out on an exciting player. Mathieu has a on going dispute regarding his failed marijuana tests. As a fan, I hate stories about potentially great football players who have additions. The question is, ...
Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones told the Elf & Slater Show on 105.3 The Fan KRLD-FM that he believes his team will be much better in 2013.“Obviously, we got our eyes on not only getting them healthy but keeping them healthy,” Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News. “We got some good ideas on that in terms of how we’re going to manage different...
Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that they’re excited about the new changes for this coming season.“We’re excited. We’re ready,” Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware said. “There have been some changes, but they’ve been changes for the good. I feel like everybody on the team has grasped that concept. Let’s get ready for the...
NFL News: The Dallas Cowboys made Danny McCray a happy man Friday, signing the safety to a one-year, $1.323 million deal.
Fantas Ramifications: While McCray did have 71 tackles in 10 games, truth-be-told he is more of a special teams player who can help out in other areas when the need is called upon. Look for him to have a solid season for his standards but he deserves to be owned...

This means WAR!
The 2013 Dallas Cowboys schedule is out and I am all atwitter. I can hear in the distance the pitter-patter of not-so-itty bitty feet. A new season will soon be born. Oh, glorious day!
I am not yet ready to roll out season predictions, mainly because free agency and the NFL draft have yet to be played out. So, don’t get pushy.
We still do not know who is going to...
IRVING, Texas The Dallas Cowboys' position on the right tackle position?
It's one driven by political correctness. One driven by open-mindedness. And one driven by leverage.
"I think there's some interest and prospects there,'' Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones tells us, "between what we have and what we could get.''
For the Dallas Cowboys, hope and expectation is always high, as a new season approaches.Last year, they coulda been a contender, but - once again - they didn't make the cut.It makes one wonder how many more seasons without a playoff win, or even a playoff game, Jerry Jones can take. The 2013 schedule looks manageable for Tony Romo's boys. What does that mean? It means that...
The Dallas Cowboys have re-signed safety Danny McCray after the best season of his career.
