It turned out that the Texans were able to survive it, but just at the end of the first half, a Danieal Manning penalty erased a Texans touchdown from the scoreboard. What was it that earned Manning the punitive yellow fabric? Well, he apparently felt like kicker Shaun Suisham was a threat to chase down cornerback Jonathan Joseph. So he blocked Suisham in the back. And that's how you make seven points disappear. You act like the athleticism of Shaun Suisham is something that needs to be addressed. The penalty was part of a Texans first-half effort that looked pretty good, but somehow only staked them to a 10-point halftime lead. The Steelers hung around, made some plays in the second half, and had a chance to tie the game on the final drive. They didn't, though, because the Texans now have a defense with enough backbone to overcome mistakes like this. Tremendous win for the Texans.

Foster rushes for 155 yards in Texans' win

Arian Foster rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown in his return to the starting lineup as the Houston Texans posted a 17-10 victory over the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Why Foster's fun to watch;

There are faster running backs in the NFL than Arian Foster. There are bigger backs, too. There might be backs with better vision and superior cutting ability. There might even be smarter backs. But there aren't many who have all these gifts, and maybe that's one of the reasons he led the NFL in rushing last season. He would be the first to tell you he has been successful...

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported on Monday Night Countdown that the Texans believe wide receiver Andre Johnson's hamstring injury will not keep him out long term. The Defense We Always Wanted

I don’t care what anyone says, our defense this year is better than it has ever been. Do you know why?It is not because we have given only 214.3 passing yards a game, which is 50 yards less per game than last year. It is not because we are averaging 1 more turnover a game than last year at this point. It is not because we are averaging 4 more sacks than last year a game, at...
