Wes Welker has had a successful run in a Patriots uniform, but it’s no guarantee that he’ll be back in New England next season. In fact, The Boston Globe’s Greg Bedard thinks this will be Welker’s final campaign in a Pats uniform. The team placed the franchise tag on the wide receiver prior to the season, and the two sides might not be able to work out a new deal after this year. If the Patriots do eventually part ways with Welker, it’ll leave a major void in the receiving corps, and will mean that Bill Belichick will have to look at other options to contribute out of the slot. Bedard thinks the Rams’ Danny Amendola and the Dolphins’ Davone Bess could intriguing options to lessen the blow. Check out the video above to hear more.

Dolphins not concerned with Patriots' ability to clinch division ... In fact, they 'had no clue'

When asked Thursday whether he was thinking about Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins being a potential division-clincher for his team, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker had a one-word retort: “Absolutely. ”The Dolphins, however, don't seem to be on the same page. “I had no clue until you just said that,” quarterback Ryan Tannehill told the New England...

Dolphins Division: Dolphins hope to stay alive versus Patriots

The Miami Dolphins kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a win on Sunday.  Now, after losing winnable games against the Titans and Bills, the Dolphins face an uphill climb to stay relevant in playoff talk.  That won’t be easy, considering the Dolphins still have to play the 49ers and the Patriots twice.  It all starts on Sunday, with the Patriots coming to town, the Dolphins...

Bess, Garcon rise up WR ranks

Week 12 turned out to be something of a rollercoaster in the world of fantasy football.
