Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett has always been one to speak his mind — or should we say, tweet his mind. As we learned when he hit on AJ McCarron’s gilfriend over Twitter last week, the 31-year-old loves throwing his two cents in when it comes to stories that have the country buzzing. On Thursday, Dockett decided to weigh in on the Manti Te’o fake girlfriend saga by sending the following tweet to the Notre Dame linebacker: As Deadspin pointed out, “KOD” is an acronym for the King of Diamonds strip club. I don’t think midgets have anything to do with the current story, unless there are even more weird details that I missed. Then again, we have to remember who we are dealing with. This is the same guy who sent an explicit tweet about how he needed some loving the day after Christmas, so Dockett is known to fly off the handle and say ridiculous things. That wasn’t all Dockett had to say. He also took some time to heckle former teammate Reagan Mauia about his bizar...

Cards' loss of Horton inevitable with Arians hire

TEMPE, Ariz. -- With defensive coordinator Ray Horton under contract for another year, it seemed plausible that the Cardinals might keep him on in the same position should they pass him over for the head coaching vacancy. But honest evaluation from the start should have made it clear: It was head coach or nothing for Horton. Hiring anyone else all but guaranteed Horton wouldn'...

The Browns have named Ray Horton their new defensive coordinator. Horton spent the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, who ranked second in the NFL in interceptions and third-down efficiency. Horton has 19 years of experience as a pro assistant. Report: Horton likely out in Arizona, same for Bowles in Philly

According to Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports, Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton is expected to be fired and replaced by Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, who’s also expected to be let go by Philly. It would be great if the Eagles could get Bowles, but it sounds like he might be headed to Cleveland to be their new defensive coordinator.     Need NFL Tickets? ...

Report: Chargers hire Whisenhunt as OC

Ken Whisenhunt will be named the San Diego Chargers' new offensive coordinator, ESPN reported Thursday. Whisenhunt was fired as the Arizona Cardinals' head coach after the team finished 5-11 for the second time in the last three seasons. Whisenhunt was 45-51 in the regular season over six years with the Cardinals. He also posted a 4-2 playoff record, including a Super...
