Last Sunday, San Diego Chargers safety Darrell Stuckey tweeted out a photo of his newborn son cradled inside a Chargers helmet to his followers. Born a few short months ago on Feb. 13, infant Jayton James Stuckey looks awfully comfortable inside his daddy’s helmet and folks all across the interwebs are speculating that the helmet in which little Jayton is sitting could be the new Chargers helmet, a fitting nod to the old-school helmets the team wore way back when and bust out on an occasional basis. I’ll allow the uni-nerds parse out the subtle differences of the helmets and instead focus upon how tiny Jayton looks in that big ol’ helmet. Warning: Adorable Overload Meltdown imminent. Via @DarrellStuckey: Adorable, indeed. This wasn’t the first time Stuckey had his son model some Chargers gear. In March, a photo was uploaded of little Jayton rocking a Chargers jersey: “@laciestuckey: @chargers Jayton asked 2 try on his daddy’s jersey and obviously I can’t say no to that face! twitter.com/LacieStuckey/s…” — Darrell Stuckey II (@DarrellStuckey) March 26, 2013 Aww. Makes me kind of jealous that Stuckey has such neat props from his career in which to pose his pride and joy in for photos. If it were me, my kid would be posing on a keyboard next to an empty Cheez-It box. Sigh.
