As the New York Jets feared, shutdown cornerback Darrelle Revis did in fact suffer a season-ending torn ACL in Sunday's battle with rival Miami.Revis will require surgery. This is devastating news for New York's defense, and good news for fantasy managers who own wide receivers that will be facing the Jets over the next several weeks. Those receivers include Michael Crabtree (49ers) in Week 4, Andre Johnson (Texans) in Week 5, and Reggie Wayne (Colts) in Week 6. Cortland Finnegan of St. Louis and Johnathan Joseph of Houston will now vie for the title of the NFL's No. 1 cornerback with Revis out of service. Kyle Wilson out of Boise State will now attempt to fill the shoes of Revis at left cornerback, and will clearly be a significant downgrade at the position.

Life without cornerback Darrelle Revis is what the New York Jets will likely face for the remainder of the 2012 season.
In the days leading up to last Sunday’s tilt between the Jets and Dolphins, Rex Ryan raised a few eyebrows — even more than usual — when he stated the team needed to put some “hot sauce” on Miami running back Reggie Bush.
Nothing really was made of it, though Ryan seemingly accomplished his goal, as his defense turned up the Tabasco and knocked Bush out of action during...
