It's official: Darrelle Revis is a Buccaneer.

After passing his physical, the All-Pro cornerback officially inked a new contract with Tampa Bay.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Revis signed a six-year, $96 million deal that makes him the highest paid defender in NFL history, but includes zero guaranteed money.

The Jets receive the Bucs' first-round pick in 2013 (No. 13 overall) and a 2014 conditional fourth-rounder that could become a third, depending on incentives.

The news was first reported by Revis' agent, Neil Schwartz, and visual evidence came via his business manager, John Geiger.

It was reported earlier in the day that the Jets and Bucs had agreed to the framework of a blockbuster trade, with Revis heading to the Bucs in exchange for multiple draft picks. Revis flew to Tampa this morning, and was picked up at the airport by Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano.

Week one is going to be very interesting.
