Games We Play: A sports blog for girls:
I don't really have much to add to this article from Newsday.com today, which you can find here. I just like to give play to fellow Freeporters (anyone who reads my blog knows D'Brickashaw played saxophone with my sister in high school and used to walk her home from school). And you get all the media hype about this trade and all the commentators, um, comments, but this gives a bit of insight into what's going on in the locker room. And I know Brick to be a level-headed, decent guy, so I value his opinion. If he's intrigued by this trade, then so am I.Note to readers: you might not be able to read the whole article on the Newsday website, unless you're a Newsday or Cablevision subscriber.Should be an interesting upcoming NFL season.

Tebowmania was hard to miss, week after week Tim Tebow gave the NFL something different. Be it a ten yard scramble into the endzone, or an 80 yard bomb down the field to seal a playoff victory, there was no doubt that the former Florida Gator turned Denver Bronco was a hit for the league.

So much for a quiet offseason. Tim Tebow trade to the New York Jets shakes things up in the AFC East.
The big signing in terms of its football impact during the 2012 NFL offseason is, without question, the acquistion of former Indianapolis Colts' quarterback Peyton Manning by the Denver Broncos. The future Hall of Famer's five-year deal with the franchise that John Elway built automatically vaults them to contender status in the AFC.
From a locker room culture standpoint...
