Carolina Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson will not be ready for team OTAs starting Tuesday, according to the Charlotte Observer. Johnson had arthroscopic surgery on May 4, which general manager Marty Hurney described as a "minor clean-out." The Panthers' OTAs are scheduled for the next three weeks; minicamp will follow June 12-14. Johnson had nine sacks in 2011, the first season of a six-year, $72 million contract.
