As Sanchez continues to struggle, maybe it's time for the Jets to give Tim Tebow a chance? (Elsa/Getty Images) The back-to-back losses by the New York Jets are about as bad as it can get. To make things worse, this loss was their third blowout loss of the season. The Jets are crashing, fast, and although there is enough blame to go around, a lot of it has to be put on quarterback Mark Sanchez (9/22, 124 yards, 6.4 QBR). On Sunday, Sanchez was simply awful and could not do anything for his offense, except turn the ball over. The greatest damage was done in the red zone, which they only got into because of the defense, when he throw a totally ill-advised pass to Dustin Keller that was picked off by CB, Richard Sherman, and ran back 26 yards. If he threw the ball earlier when he was suppose to, it probably would have been a TD, but instead he waited and turned it over.  This was Sanchez’s fourth red zone interception, after only three last season. The Jets had the best red zone off...

Rex Ryan cried after loss to Seattle

Known for his bluster and bravado, the Jets coach showed a different side of himself to his players following their loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

Anonymous Jets players rip Tebow

The horrid play of Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez along with the team's 3-6 record has some fans and pundits calling for the Jets to finally make the move and insert Tim Tebow as starting quarterback. That might be a popular decision among the masses outside of Rex Ryan's tear-filled locker room, but inside, Tebow has anything but the support of his Gang Green teammates....

Rex Ryan: Tebow Comments “Cowardly”

Per a report from CNN’s Sports Illustrated, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan thinks the player(s) who called Tim Tebow “terrible” are “a cowardly thing.”  Ryans comments are in response to an earlier report of over a dozen Jets players and members of the organization anonymously criticizing Tebow. Ryan is absolutely right; if you want to call Tebow terrible, be like the...

When you’re are the quarterback of a team and expected to be a leader, it’s a bad sign when your teammates have no confidence in you.According to the Daily News, New York Jets players believe Tebow shouldn’t be starting at quarterback, and going as far as saying, “he’s terrible.”There has been a lot of hoopla over the quarterback situation in New York since the offseason...

New York Jets players rip Tim Tebow, call him “terrible”

We can’t say we are surprised that it has finally happened. It was only a matter of time before New York Jets players came out with their true feelings about their back-up quarterback, Tim Tebow. In Wednesday’s edition of the New York Daily News, more then a dozen Jets players voiced their opinions on Tebow, one even calling him, “terrible.” and saying that he hasn’t improved...

Joe Namath is ready for Tim Tebow

Before Sunday’s dreadful loss in Seattle, Joe Namath indicated last week that he’s ready for the New York Jets to start Tim Tebow over Mark Sanchez. “We can go right to the Tebow thing. I mean, come on,” Namath said Wednesday, per USA TODAY Sports. “If you’re bringing him in to play, where’s he been? Are you bringing him in to make other people practice longer? Excuse...

Rather than wasting time with Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow, the New York Jets should start former Alabama standout Greg McElroy at quarterback

After yet another putrid performance in Sunday’s 28-7 loss to the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington, it is more evident than ever that Mark Sanchez is a quarterback incapable of making the New York Jets a winning organization. … Continue reading →

For Ryan Out Loud: Rex teared up in Seattle

The New York Jets' offense was listless in Seattle and that didn't sit well with head coach Rex Ryan.

Initial Reaction – New York Jets Pop Warner Offense Gets Blown Out

The New York Jets defense came to play today. This isn’t the most talented unit and they are lacking in many key areas. Regardless, they put forth a respectable effort and gave their team every chance to be competitive and win. The offense? Putrid. Embarrassing. Pop Warner quality. The Jets had two weeks to prepare and their major revelation was bringing Tim Tebow in the game...

Rex Ryan Determined to Ride a Sinking Ship

I really don’t like the Jets, mostly because they are blinded by their own arrogance. Last year Rex Ryan continued to tout his team as a Super Bowl contender instead of paying attention in the clubhouse. They rewarded a mediocre quarterback coming off a disappointing season with a contract extension. They declare that they are a ground-and-pound team despite not having personnel...

Jets-Rams Preview

There's a strong possibility many NFL teams will be starting backup quarterbacks in Week 11 for one reason or another, though the New York Jets won't be one of them. That seems to be just fine with a few unidentified teammates of Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Coach Rex Ryan's task of helping the slumping Jets remain positive is becoming increasingly difficult as they...

Jets speaking truth about Tebow

Dear Jason: Remember when Hank Haney mentioned in his book that I was obsessed with joining the military? I used to party with General Petraeus and General Allen. Offensive Ineptitude Dooms Jets in 28-7 loss in Seattle

Seattle, WA- Same story, different game, once again the flat out ineptitude of the Jets offense paved the way for yet another blowout loss. A loss that feels very much like the new normal around here."Alright... Obviously that's a brutal loss right there.' Said a teary eyed Rex Ryan. "You know, we had some opportunities, especially early in the game, made some critical...

Seahawks crush Jets 28-7

The Seattle Seahawks (6-4) beat the New York Jets (3-6) 28-7, this past Sunday at CentruyLink Field from Seattle, WA. As soon as the Jets told media before this game saying they were going to make the playoffs, but that likely won't happen now as they got crushed by Seattle. It's time for Rex Ryan to pull Mark Sanchez from the starting QB position, although it is unlikely...
