For the past two weeks, the biggest story in the wide world of sports has been the Aaron Hernandez murder charge. Hernandez, a pro bowl tight end who previously played tight end for the New England Patriots pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and five firearms charges, more than a week after the body of Odin Lloyd was found near his Massachusetts home.
Before he was officially indicted, the Patriots waived Hernandez and have since done everything possible to distance themselves from him. They’re even offering free exchanges on Aaron Hernandez jerseys.
Former Louisville wide receiver Deion Branch, a former teammate of Hernandez’s with New England has decided to take a different route than his previous employer. Branch, who is currently a free agent, recently made some very interesting comments about his former teammates.
