In 2002, Deion Branch was a wide eye rookie coming into the NFL, and the Patriots weren’t the dominant team as they are now.
Branch grew with those teams until he was traded in 2006, but upon his return in 2010, he realized what he had missed.
He’s now an elder spokes man, ever the ambassador, Branch knows time is winding down in his career, and that is what makes it special this time of year.
Last year the Patriots came within minutes of winning their fourth Super Bowl, but he knows every year is different. This 2012 team will have to make their own mark starting Sunday.
