DeMarcus Ware was more concerned with hydration than Greg Ellis' playing time

DeMarcus Ware continued his radio tour to promote the NFL's Beat the Heat campaign by appearing on SIRIUS NFL Radio's "The Opening Drive" with Bob Papa and Randy Cross. Of course, Greg Ellis' comments from yesterday were brought up, and Ware came up with a clever response. "You know, on the concept of hydration, I think I was probably going off the field maybe to get hydrated," he said with a laugh, according to the transcript posted on ESPN.com's NFL East blog. Ware obviously doesn't want to say anything to make Ellis look bad, but he certainly isn't fessing up to hiding from the coaches so they'd have to get Ellis on the field.
