Defense wins football games! Denver Broncos fans will find this to be a quote of the past because of their recent acquisitions.  When Peyton Manning came to Denver, fans would have an understanding of the moving parts that would follow him. With an average defense on the other side of the ball, Manning won as a Colt by scoring with many weapons surrounding him. That's not quite the case with Denver having Von Miller as linebacker, a veteran such as Champ Bailey, and a future with defensive end Robert Ayers. When the year 2013 came upon NFL fans, offense was what the Denver Broncos' front office loaded up on for the next season. At the running back position, Knowshon Moreno had almost 700 all purpose yards and Willis McGahee was just under a 1000 all purpose yards. Beside having running backs such as Moreno and McGahee,  the Broncos drafted Montee Ball who gained 5,140 yards with 77 touchdowns while at Wisconsin. If that's not enough, the Broncos have back up backs Mario F...

A Super Bowl in Denver? Broncos planning to bid

The NFL may need a new location to fill the bid for Super Bowl L, now that the Dolphins chances were ruined by the state legislature in Florida. The league wanted upgrades or a new stadium in Miami, and because the Dolphins can’t currently public funding, it looks like the Denver Broncos are going to step in and take a shot at land the Big Game. The NFL is not afraid of bad weather...

Broncos QB Manning the mastermind of pranks, too

As evidenced by the proliferating number of pranks he's pulling, Peyton Manning has gotten pretty comfortable in Denver as he enters his second season with the Broncos. His teammates warn that Manning might not want to get too cozy, though, because they're plotting their revenge. So far, none of them have gotten back at the productive prankster. Manning's latest victim...

Eric Decker and Peyton Manning Prank Their Offensive Lineman

Peyton Manning and wide receiver Eric Decker had a little fun at the expense of Broncos’ offensive lineman Orlando Franklin.  During the broadcast of the Rockies game yesterday Orlando was the recipient of a pie to the face courtesy of Decker, and of course Peyton called the play.  The video is great. #bbpBox_331977748576866304 a { text-decoration:none; color:#2F9603; }#bbpBox_33197774857686...

Montee Ball reminds John Elway of Terrell Davis

As a quarterback, Denver Broncos executive John Elway reached the promised land with the help of running back Terrell Davis in the 90′s. Together the pair generated back-to-back Super Bowl wins and sent Elway riding off into the sunset on top. Elway and his director of player personnel Matt Russell are hoping that a hunch will yield Denver’s current field general Peyton Manning...
DRESSED TO KILL?

Peyton Manning, Von Miller attend MLB game

The Colorado Rockies hosted several members of the Denver Broncos for Tuesday night’s game against the New York Yankees at Coors Field. To say that some of them were dressed to kill would be the understatement of the century. In the spirit of saving the best for last, we’ll start by mentioning how great Von Miller’s shirt was. As one Reddit user pointed out after the photo...

It's always an interesting debate when we look at who the best QB of all time is.  Frankly, I don't believe we can compare different eras, so we're going to take a look at the guys currently playing and rank the top 5 moving into the 2013 season.  Without further ado, here they are.5. Eli Manning - Most people will criticize me for putting Eli on this list, but no one...

John Elway: ‘We found a gem in Montee Ball’

Denver Broncos vice president John Elway said Tuesday that running back Montee Ball reminds him of Terrell Davis. “We’re excited. When we were watching Montee, the one thing that stood out about his running style is that it’s a lot like Terrell Davis, and so that got us very excited, and we hope that Montee

John Elway Compares RB Montee Ball To Terrell Davis

John Elway has done a pretty good job as the executive vice president for the Denver Broncos.  Most of his personnel decisions have been right on. Elway drafted former Wisconsin running back Montee Ball in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft and bypassed the one rusher everyone supposedly coveted, Eddie Lacy. Why did Elway make the choice to go with Ball?  When Elway was studying film...

Fantasy Football: May ADP Report

Comparing 2013 fantasy football preseason rankings to the current average draft position (ADP) data is not only interesting, but it can also be a very helpful tool. It allows me to compare the common perception of players’ values versus my calculations, which I can then use to maximize value during drafts. For example, I like Alex Smith +10 more than his ADP, which means I can...

Fantasy Football 2013: Three Wide Receivers Who Will Be Drafted Too High

Sometimes a change in scenery is a good thing. For a couple of NFL receivers, a change of scenery heading into the 2013 season may mean a drop in production. As we all know and often forget, some players are just better in certain systems. We’ve seen many instances where a guy puts up big numbers for one team and fails to do so the next because he wasn’t utilized the same way...

Luck feeling comfortable and that’s just fine

They say there are two roads for talented second year NFL players. On one hand there is the “Sophomore Slump” and on the other is the fact that many players take a big leap after getting a season under their belt. The quarterback position is a vital position when it comes to time put in, and one of the best things you can see from your teams QB is that he puts the time in. Luck...
