You can add another interested party to the mix for Ahmad Bradshaw.
According to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post, the Denver Broncos have interest in former Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is still unsigned. When healthy, he is just the kind of hard-edged runner the Broncos want. But he just got out of a walking boot last month after surgery to insert a screw in his right foot to repair a fracture.
He had surgery in late January, and folks with the Giants, who released him Feb. 6, said at the time of the surgery that Bradshaw was looking at a 10-week recovery. But that injury/repair is always a concern over the long term with a running back.
Due to the injuries suffered to current Denver running backs Willis McGahee and Knowshon Moreno back in 2012, it comes as no shock that the Broncos would be looking to add more depth at the position.
Legwold said that the Broncos also had interest in former Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall before he signed as a free agent with the Arizona Cardinals last month.
Since being released back in February, the interest has been there for the 26-year-old Bradshaw.
The New York Jets, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers all have had interest in Bradshaw; only the Steelers have brought him in for a meeting, but no deal was offered by Pittsburgh.
Bradshaw is a former seventh round pick of the Giants back in the 2007 NFL Draft and has been a part of two Giants Super Bowls in 2007 and 2011.
In Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots, Bradshaw scored the winning touchdown with less than minute in the game that gave the Giants a 21-17 lead.
If Bradshaw were able to land in Denver, he would be taking hand-offs from another Manning in Eli Manning's older brother, Peyton Manning.
Bradshaw is coming off a 1,015-yard season in 2012 with six touchdowns for the Giants, just the second time in his career that he rushed for over 1,000 yards.
Stay tuned to Giants 101 for further updates on Bradshaw potentially signing in Denver, or if any other team has reported interest in him.

Victor Cruz is working hard this offseason to get a big payday at the end of this season. It doesn’t look like he and the Giants will reach a long term deal this season, as Cruz may be looking for Wallace money and the Giants are just not going to pony up that kind of dough.

In a move that has been expected for months, Giants receiver Victor Cruz is now under the “Roc Nation Sports” umbrella. Cruz didn’t have to fire his agent or even make any major adjustments like Yankees Robinson Cano. Cruz’s agent Tom Condon was affiliated with CAA prior to this deal. The expectation is that Cruz’s affiliation with Jay-Z will impact his endorsement deals...
