The Denver Broncos have released their veteran runner back, Willis McGahee, according to Adam Schefter on Twitter. McGahee started for the Broncos the last two seasons. Broncos released RB Willis McGahee. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) June 13, 2013   McGahee is coming off a significant knee injury that sidelined him for the last two months of the season, and with the already crowded backfield – it will create more room for Ronnie Hillman and second-round rookie Montee Ball. McGahee was set to make $2.5 million in 2013.
