Former Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford is stepping into the gaming arena to help educate kids , and some adults I’m sure, about money-management: …Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will be at the White House on Thursday — and not because the Lions won the Super Bowl. Stafford, Rep. Gary Peters, D-Bloomfield Township, who is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, and others will be at the Financial Capability and Empowerment Summit to show off an educational video game called Financial Football. Stafford and others will demonstrate the game and also will be at the Pentagon for a similar event with the Navy Federal Credit Union. The game is part of Visa’s nationwide educational initiative with the National Football League and NFL players union The game, in which teams compete against each other by answering financial questions, has been rolling out over the last several months and can be found at the link above and can be downloaded to your Mac/PC or iPad/iPhone.
