Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson will undergo surgery today after breaking his arm in two places during an early Tuesday morning car accident, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Nate Burleson broke his arm in 2 places in an early morning car accident. Will undergo surgery. Obviously a huge loss for the #Lions. — Dave Birkett (@davebirkett) September 24, 2013 Burleson was driving home after watching Monday Night Football with teammates.  Police say that alcohol was not involved and that the accident happened on I-696 near Drake in Farmington Hills when Burleson reached down to try to “catch an object that was falling off his seat,” according to CBS Detroit.
