This morning around 11AM, Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush tweeted four thumbs up symbols. This is likely a sign that the doctors found nothing wrong with his knee that got banged up in Sundays tilt vs the Arizona Cardinals.
This is great news for the Detroit Lion and Reggie’s fantasy owners who were most certainly worried after leaving the game twice. While he should be fine, this doesn’t necessarily mean he is in the clear to play week three. This will be just one of the many running backs we watch closely during practice this week. He joins a star-studded list including Ray Rice, Maurice Jones-Drew and Steven Jackson, of guys that left their respective games early.
With a tasty matchup against the porous Washington Redskins defense, you know Reggie wants to suit up. Even if he is able to take the field, this likely means an increased role for backup Joique Bell and we could possibly see Mikel LeShoure active for this matchup.
