PLAYERS: Dez Bryant
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant, still really good at football. Bryant had this remarkable diving catch Sunday against the Chiefs where he was ruled down just short of goal line. For some reason, Andy Reid decided not to challenge the play even though it appeared as though the ball hits the ground. Bryant has 5 catches for 100-yards in the 1st quarter. Three plays later Dez got his TD.

GIF: Dez Bryant lays out for diving catch against Kansas City Chiefs

Tweet   The Dallas Cowboys committed to Tony Romo with a big contract extension earlier this year so the spotlight will be even brighter than normal on the franchise’s quarterback to produce. That job becomes a bit easier when you have Dez Bryant making plays like this for you down the field. There’s little doubt […]

Dez Bryant Retweets Draya’s Vagina Photo and Cowboys Fans Aren’t Pleased

It came as a surprise to no one that Dez Bryant didn’t do any of his classwork at Oklahoma State, because he isn’t the brightest guy around.  With that being said I am going to cut him a little slack here. While on Twitter last night this exchange took place between Bryant and Basketball Wives Draya courtesy of The Big Lead. Now, I am not going to post the Vagina in question...

The Dallas Cowboys were scalped today by the Kansas City Chiefs. They didn’t see this one coming, did they?

The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. Dallas couldn’t have seen this coming from a team that had a terrible 2012 season. The problem was Tony Romo and his Cowboys under estimated the way the Chiefs are playing with their new head coach and their new quarterback. The sorry part of this Cowboys loss was Romo played OK in the game. He completed 30 of the 42 passes he...

Garrett: Romo's ribs are not an issue

Tony Romo's passing accuracy was curiously off during the latter stages of Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. Romo sustained a rib injury the previous week against the Giants and took a painkilling injection before the game in Kansas City. In his postgame interview, Romo said the effects of the shot did not wear off during the game. However, he appeared to alter his follow...

Cowboys' elevator stops in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY -- The Dallas Cowboys' Sunday afternoon in Kansas City was splotched with indecision, bad decisions and well -intentioned decisions gone wrong. And even after this 17-16 Week 2 loss to the Chiefs, the sputtering continued all the way to a simple Arrowhead Stadium elevator ride. As Cowboys staffers trudged from their lofty box to the lift that would drop them to the...

New Game Plan for the Cowboys Already Gone?

The Dallas Cowboys looked like a whole different team from the one we saw take down the New York Giants in week one, falling to the Kansas City Chiefs 17-16 in the home opener.  It was also the home debut for new head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Alex Smith. The Chiefs got out to an early 7-0 lead with Smith, who had a game-high 57 rushing yards, running and passing the...

Dallas Cowboys Friday Photo Trivia: Name This Player

The Dallas Cowboys participated in their first NFL draft in 1961. The team’s first pick turned out to be a legend, as the Cowboys selected defensive tackle Bob Lilly. The second-round pick was born in Schulenburg, Texas and played at Texas Tech. The Cowboys took this player in the second round of the draft, but he chose to play for the Dallas Texans. He enjoyed a ten-year career...

Matt Mosley's Instant Replay

Maybe the Cowboys should lobby for a Week 2 bye in the future. For the second consecutive season, they followed up an exciting win over the New York Giants with a loss. The only slightly redeeming thing about this year's Week 2 loss is the Cowboys didn't get blown off the field. But Andy Reid's dominance of the Cowboys continued with Kansas City's 17-16 win in front...

Cowboys stadium uses more electricity than Liberia

Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf claimed that AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, actually uses more energy than her entire nation. She's right, sort of.

Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer is active for week 2

Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer is active for today's game. He will see his first action of the season though it probably will be in pass-rush situations. Spencer had left knee surgery July 25 and returned to practice this week with limited practices Wednesday and Friday.

Dallas RB Lance Dunbar Set To Make Season Debut Versus Chiefs

Not that it matters a lot to most fantasy footballers, but Dallas Cowboys backup running back Lance Dunbar is set to make his season debut Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs. If you were holding onto Phillip Tanner as DeMarco Murray‘s  backup, it’s time to send him packing. Dunbar should be taking over that role. While I don’t think Dunbar will bet a significant amount of...

Cowboys-Chiefs Instant Trivia: Another Unique Score

Some random trivia items focusing on yesterday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs: The Dallas Cowboys have played 862 regular-season and playoff games. I have no idea what the actual odds of this happening are, but how possible is it for the Cowboys to play back-to-back games with final scores unique to any of the other 860 games? Last week, the Cowboys beat the Giants 36-31, marking...
