The Giants have had a multitude of injuries at the wide receiver position, so much so that they have had to call Derek Hagan off his couch and Michael Clayton from the UFL. One of the two has seemingly made his mark on the team to warrant a long term place on the roster. Hagan had a team high seven receptions for 65 yards against the Redskins, he was consistently single covered and Eli Manning took advantage by targeting him more than any other Giants wide receiver. “They were playing off,” Hagan said. “When corners are playing off or if they’re out there in single-coverage, you expect to win. You expect the ball to come to you…I know I can beat one-on-one coverage.” Despite not finding the end zone, one has to wonder if the Giants will be able to find a spot on the roster that is already full of wide receivers.
