Yes, the Indianapolis Colts are right in the thick of things in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes after getting beat 27-10 on Sunday by the Tennessee Titans.  And yes, Jim Caldwell’s team has been putrid as of late, sitting at 0-8 and having been outscored 89-17 in their last two games.

But isn’t it a little premature to shell out $100 or so on Andrew Luck Colts jerseys?  Aren’t they worried the football gods may smite their chances at garnering the No.1 pick in next year’s draft?

Call me superstitious, but this may not bode well for Indianapolis fans. These guys may have just jinxed their team’s chances at drafting Luck, the most highly prized quarterback prospect in recent memory.

Or not. Judging by how poorly the Colts have played in recent weeks, I doubt very much that Indy’s “Suck for Luck” campaign is in any kind of jeopardy, football gods be damned.
