Do the Bengals or Texans have the stronger team? Comparing wildcard teams by position. AFC Wild Card Game - #6 Bengals at #3 Texans QB - Matt Schaub over Andy Dalton - I really should be going with Dalton here but I'm going to stick with Schaub. RB - Foster over BGE - This is obvious. WR - Johnson over Green -  This is probably the last year Johnson would be ranked over AJ Green. Defense - Push Everything points to Houston but I think they are really struggling right now and I expect Cinci to win. AFC Wild Card Game - #5 Colts at #3 Ravens QB - Andrew Luck over Joe Flacco - Luck is already a better QB than Flacco will be during his career.   RB - Ray Rice over Vick Ballard - This isn't close. WR - TY Hilton and Reggie Wayne over Boldin and Smith - This would be a lot closer is Flacco wasn't the Ravens starting QB. Defense - Ravens over Colts - Baltimore isn't the defense it use to be but, they're still better than Ind...

Houston dispatches the Bengals 19-13, now they will try and exercise the demons against the Patriots

The Houston Texans, who struggled the last month of the season, beat the Cincinnati Bengals tonight 19-13 behind their All-Pros running back Arian Foster and defensive end J.J. Watt. The Texans, who eliminated the Bengals last season as well, were paced by four field goals by Shayne Graham of 48, 27, 22 and 24 yards and a 1 yard touchdown run by Foster, who finished with 140 yards...

Bengals' D-line blossoms into one of best

Michael Johnson towers over blockers at 6-foot-7. At 6-foot-1, Geno Atkins often gets dwarfed on the line. Domata Peko is gregarious. Carlos Dunlap tends to cut off interviews after a few questions. The Bengals' defensive line is an eclectic mix of players from far different backgrounds with very different personalities and body types. Together, they formed one of the NFL'...

For analysis on Cincinnati http://footballfanspot.com/cincinnati-bengals-wild-card-round-power-rankings-10 For analysis on Houston http://footballfanspot.com/houston-texans-wild-card-round-power-rankings-7 As tempting as it is to go against Matt Schaub, whose team is reeling right now, especially since this is Matt Schaub’s first playoff start (quarterbacks are 5-13 ATS at home...

The Bengals went 9-0 against non-playoff teams last season, but 0-7 against playoff teams, a number that grew to 0-8 when they lost to the Texans in the first round...
