Over the past two weeks, the New York Giants have had something they haven’t had in what feels like forever.

A running game.

And, naturally, just as every other player has emerged in their recent system, that running game has come from someone who no one would have expected it to.

Andre Brown, who spent his 2010 season on five different teams and the 2011 season on the Giants practice squad, has gotten his opportunity to be a featured back in New York’s offense the last two weeks, due to a neck injury to starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw, and has made the most of it.

After breaking off some big runs that helped balance the Giants offense late in their 41-34 come-from-behind win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday, Brown made his first career start on Thursday night, and was even more impressive.… Read more
