Found April 08, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Agent Drew Rosenhaus is “hearing from everyone” that the Miami Dolphins are targeting an offensive tackle in the first-round, per Ben Volin. Since losing Jake Long to the Rams, the Dolphins have been linked to every available free agent offensive tackle, but they haven’t shown serious interest in guys like Eric Winston, Andre Smith or Bryant McKinnie. As far as the draft is concerned, the Dolphins will have a tough time landing any of the top-three offensive tackles. Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher could be taken within the first five picks and Lane Johnson would have to get by the Cardinals at No. 7 and the Chargers at No. 11 in order for them take him. Miami has an additional second and third-round pick to work with, so there’s a very real chance they could trade up and secure one of the top tackles. Alabama OT D.J. Fluker is reportedly rising up draft boards in the weeks leading up to the draft, so there’s at least a chance he could get some consideration as high as No. 12 overall. ...

Dolphins very interested in Lane Johnson, could trade up to get him

It’s no secret that the Miami Dolphins need to find an offensive tackle, either in the draft or in the recycling bin that is free agency.  The Dolphins have not shown interest in recently released Tyson Clabo yet.  They’ve also cooled on the idea of signing Eric Winston.  The common theme there is that both players are right tackles.  In my opinion, the Dolphins simply do...

D.J. Fluker is reportedly a possibility for the Dolphins

According to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, there’s a chance the Miami Dolphins could end up using the 12th overall pick of this month’s draft on Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker. There’s no doubt that with Jake Long now in St. Louis, the Dolphins are going to need to draft a tackle early on.     Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script =...

Public money would be used for about 30 percent of the project, which also requires approval by the Florida Legislature. The referendum will be held in May, shortly before...

Legislature refuses to aid Dolphins

Florida's oldest professional sports franchise - the Miami Dolphins - was dealt a crushing blow Friday when the Florida Legislature ended its session without passing any funding plan that would assist the team's quest to refurbish its stadium. The refusal of the GOP-controlled Legislature to aid the team wasn't just a defeat for the Dolphins - it could also sack South...

Karlos Dansby An Option For The Ravens?

Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun writes that the free agent LB Karlos Dansby could be an option for the Ravens depending on what happens during the upcoming NFL Draft. Many expect the Ravens to take an inside linebacker at some point in the draft after they lost Dannell Ellerbe to the Dolphins last month. Dansby, 31, was released by the Dolphins before they eventually signed...

Rob Gronkowski May Not Need Fourth Surgery on Forearm, According to Drew Rosenhaus

No one seems to have a clear picture of what’s going on with Rob Gronkowski and his still healing forearm. On Sunday, a report came out from the Boston Herald that Gronkowski would need a fourth surgery on his broken forearm to remove a plate. If the area was still infected, there was a chance the tight end could miss the beginning of the 2013 season. Gronkowski’s agent, Drew...
