Miami Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller was carted off the
field in the second quarter of last night’s preseason contest against the
Houston Texans with an apparent right leg injury. Based on the photo taken by
Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press, it appears the injury could be significant.

During the preseason, players are taken off the field on a
cart more frequently than during the regular season. This is a precaution taken
by clubs. While some of the players that have been carted off earlier this
preseason have returned soon after sustaining what turned out to be their minor
