Did the Jets get lucky yesterday in their 23-20 overtime win? In case you missed it, the Jets were lining up for the game-winning field goal, Nick Folk unloaded on a 33-yarder, but it was blocked. The only problem was that Joe Philbin called a timeout to ice the kicker. Folk gets another shot, hits the winner and the Jets escape Miami with the win and first place in the AFC East.
The Jets ran off the field and this happened.
Fan: “Hey, Mark, you got lucky.”
Sanchise: “Did we?”

MIAMI, FL -- Kermit the Frog said it best; it ain't easy being green. Struggling on offense for the majority of the afternoon, the Jets and Mark Sanchez certainly didn't ease their way to a victory over the AFC East rival Miami Dolphins, on Sunday, but they'll take it.Santonio Holmes, who anticipated a big day for the Jets receivers against a young Dolphins' secondary...

The editor of this website used a word yesterday that can be applied to almost every facet of this Jets team, and is also the best word to describe Mark Sanchez’s performance...
Quarterbacks (D) - Mark Sanchez picked up his play in the 4th quarter and overtime, leading two key drives that helped get the Jets a victory. Throughout those drives he repeatedly made big time throws, which is the only reason this grade is not a F. Sanchez must improve his accuracy and decision making. Sub 50% passing days are unacceptable at this stage of his career, regardless...
This weekend, the New York Jets are on the road against the Miami Dolphins. Last week, Mark Sanchez and the Jets' offense were completely inept with the exception of an early touchdown drive.
To put it simply, this is a make or break game for the Jets, and more specifically, Mark Sanchez. I'll be very frank here; I don't think Tim Tebow can succeed in the...
Staring a potential 1-2 start in the eyes, Mark Sanchez and the Jets found a way to pull out a victory from the jaws of defeat on Sunday.
Yesterday, we featured of clip of New York Jets back-up quarterback Tim Tebow running a fake punt against the Miami Dolphins.
Tebow later in the game had a chance to make a reception but comedy ensued when he got hit in the helmet with a pass from Mark Sanchez:

In one of the most accidentally comical moments so far this season, New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw a pass on a swing route to Tim Tebow, the most popular back up QB in the history of sports. The funny part is, the pass doinks right off the top of Tebow’s helmet. Watch: I [...]
Thanks to our friends from Black Sports Online for posting this funny video from yesterday’s Dolphins-Jets game, in which Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw a pass towards Tim Tebow and hit him in the head.
After an abysmal start to the game against the Phins, Jets platoon snap-caller Mark Sanchez took his frustration out on the stickers on his face. Did he not learn anything when Jim Leonhard was his teammate?
NY Jets 23, Miami Dolphins 20Mark Sanchez (310 total yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs) generated more offense than anyone was thinking he would in a battle of two divisional rivals that have fairly stout defenses. Sanchez did make some bad throws and threw some picks, but he still got to over 300 yards passing even though he only completed 21 of 45 passes.Ryan Tannehill (199 total yards, 1...

Thing are moving fast between Jets starting Quarterback Mark Sanchez and his actress girlfriend Eva Longoria — Eva and her main squeeze are on the hunt for an east coast abode. Our source tells us the pair were spotted apartment hunting on Park Avenue in New York. I’m thinking this thing will crash and burn before the season’s over. -TO
The New York Jets escaped an ugly game at Sun Life Stadium against the Miami Dolphins with a 23-20 win in overtime. The win was already a watered-down one based on the team's performance, but add to that the Darrelle Revis injury and a damper is really put on the victory. In the end, the Jets are 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the AFC East.
It was an ugly, ugly win for the New York...
We’re two weeks into the NFL regular season and every team in the AFC East has one win, and one loss. The New York Jets have only scored three more points than they’ve given up this season, and the offense is still a question mark. With teams like San Francisco and Houston looming on the upcoming schedule, a win in Miami seems like a must for Gang Green. Darrelle Revis being...
