Found September 21, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
The Miami Dolphins take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.  Porpoises (yes I know it is a technically inaccurate term for a Dolphin) versus birds.  Moreover, the Dolphins are acting like the Jets listing 16 players on their Week 3 injury report.  16 flipping players!  Man, throw me some chum and cut out this glum.  Did head coach Joe Philbin get wind that a New Englander does this report?  Anyway, who is in and who is out?  Find out, in your Miami Dolphins Week 3 injury report. The Dolphins have two players that are out, defensive tackle Paul Soliai (knee) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin).  Soliai did not practice all week and Patterson was limited participation on Wednesday but did not participate on Thursday and Friday. There are nine players listed as probable, cornerback Jamar Taylor (groin) who was limited participation all week, CB Will Davis (toe) who was limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday but full participation on Friday, defensive end Dion Jordan (shoulder) who was full participation all week and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (pectoral) who was also full participation all week.  Also listed as probable with full participation all week are guards Nate Garner (shoulder) and John Jerry(knee) and defensive end Oliver Vernon (thumb).  Rounding out this long list of players listed as probable is safety Jimmy Wilson (groin) and quarterback Ryan Tannehill (right shoulder).  Both players were limited participation on Wednesday and Thursday and full participation on Friday. There are five players listed as questionable, QB Pat Devlin(ankle) who was limited participation all week, S Chris Clemons (hamstring) who did not participate on Wednesday or Thursday but was limited participation on Friday, LB Koa Misi (knee) who was limited participation all week, center Mike Pouncey (ankle) who was full participation Wednesday and Thursday but limited participation on Friday and wide receiver Mike Wallace (groin) who was full participation on Thursday and limited participation on Friday.  You can follow me on twitter @TheSoftParade69Talk football talk cigars talk anything, I know a little about a lot.  Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?

Cameron Wake Sustains Knee Injury

Dolphins DE/LB Cameron Wake suffered a knee injury in Sunday's game and is questionable to return.Fantasy Spin:Miami's rush defense was the third-best in the NFL last year and Wake was a huge reason why. Wake led the Dolphins in sacks last season with 8.5. It could be one reason Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan had all day to throw and his Falcons didn't punt in the first...

Ryan Tannehill set for big fantasy day against Falcons (and other fringe starters worth a look)

Ryan Tannehill – QB – Miami Dolphins (vs. Atlanta Falcons) I really think this game will be high scoring. I don’t have to tell you to start Matty Ice but Ryan Tannehill should have quite the game himself. The Falcons are banged up on defense as Left End Kroy Biermann tore his Achilles last week, Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is out and Cornerback Asante Samuel is banged up....

Mike Pouncey and the Miami Dolphins celebrate their huge win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

The Miami Dolphins Are Here to Stay

Ryan Tannehill led the Miami Dolphins on a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter, propelling the Dolphins to 3-0, and showing the rest of the NFL that they are, in fact, a team to be reckoned with. Tannehill threw for 236 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in Miami's 27-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. His second touchdown was a crucial throw to rookie...

Dolphins' Tannehill upgraded to probable, Wallace questionable

Dolphins defensive tackle Paul Soliai (knee) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (groin) both key starters are listed as "out" for Sunday's game against Atlanta. That could be a boost for the Falcons who will be without five injured starters when they visit Sun Life Stadium. The good news for Dolphins fans is quarterback Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) was upgraded to probable...

Dolphins Try for First 3-0 Start Since 2002

It hasn't been since 2002 since the Dolphins have opened the season 3-0.  With wins over the Browns in week 1 and the Colts in week 2, the Dolphins will attempt a 3-0 start this weekend against the Falcons.  If they succeed, it will be the first time they go 3-0 since 2002. The Dolphins come off a 24-20 win from the Indianapolis Colts. Injury Report as of FridayFrom

5-Year Phiniversary: Ronnie Runs (And Passes) Miami past Pats

The day was September 21st, 2008 as the 0-2 Miami Dolphins arrived in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Miami was coming off of a 31-10 blowout loss in Arizona and entered Week 3 of the 2008 season having lost 20 of their last 21 football games. 2008: Dolphins 38, Patriots 13 ( The New England Patriots were fresh off of a perfect regular season and had won seven straight...

Mike Wallace Good To Go vs. Falcons

Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace (groin) will play Sunday against the Falcons, according to Jeff Darlington of Spin:A Dolphins source says that Wallace is "fine." After a quiet Week 1 against Joe Haden and the Browns, a frustrated Wallace complained about his role and ended up seeing 11 passes thrown his way in Week 2 against the Colts. He had nine catches...

Tannehill leads Dolphins past Falcons 27-23

The stadium shook with a roar as Ryan Tannehill skipped across the field pumping his arms with glee, the Miami Dolphins' comeback complete. The score capped a 13-play, 75-yard drive after Atlanta's Matt Bryant missed...

Philbin: Wallace practices like he plays

BY NICK ST. DENISMike Wallace kicked off his Miami Dolphins tenure in uninspiring fashion, catching just one pass and pouting after the game despite his team getting a big season-opening victory.Wallace followed that up with a career weekend, amassing 115 yards and a touchdown as the Dolphins improved to 2-0. Then his attitude improved.Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said earlier in the...

Injury report: Wallace, Pouncey questionable

BY NICK ST. DENISWe knew defensive tackle Paul Soliai was unlikely to take the field this weekend. We also knew cornerback Dimitri Patterson was likely a no-go, as well. What we didn't know, however, was that two of the Miami Dolphins' most important offensive players -- receiver Mike Wallace and center Mike Pouncey -- were only 50 percent possibilities for the team's...

The Miami Dolphins host the Atlanta Falcons in the team's home opener at Sun Life Stadium in Week 3 of the 2013 NFL season. 2-0 Miami will face their toughest test of the young campaign when they take on 1-1 Atlanta, a team many believe are Super Bowl contenders.
