PLAYERS: Koa Misi
TEAMS: Miami Dolphins
Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi had a felony battery charge reduced to a misdemeanor in a Santa Barbara (Calif.) court Wednesday morning and received three years of probation, according to the Santa Barbara Independent. The charge stems from an April 2011 incident. Someone yelled at Misi from an apartment balcony. Misi punched through the front door of the apartment and punched a man in the face, fracturing his orbital socket. Prosecutor Anthony Davis, according to the newspaper, said Misi was also sentenced to 400 hours of community service and 12 sessions of anger management. Misi is due back in court in June for a status check on those two aspects of his sentence. Source: Sun Sentinel
