Despite it being an exciting day for most fans due to the release of Madden, today is a day which most players around the league are not looking forward to. By 4pm this afternoon teams need to cut down their roster to 75 players. Notable cuts included: Special teams WR Julius Pruitt Pruitt came back to the team in attempts to help provide depth to the unit. Some might have realized I was not for the signing in the first place as I never believed Pruitt could really help this team. FB Jorvorskie Lane Lane became a fan favorite last season and also was known for being step brothers with Packers TE JerMichael Finley. Lane simply couldn’t hold off free agent Evan Rodriguez and was on the roster bubble since March when the team explored its options at FB. Rodriguez has even been moved around at TE, making him a more versatile than Lane.   WR Jeff Fuller Played at Texas A & M with Tannehill but was never able to leave a positive enough impression. G Lance Louis Louis was brought in this free agency with a chance to compete to start at RG however he fell behind with nagging injuries and was never able to catch up. Waived LB Michael Clay WR Jeff Fuller DE Emeka Onyenekwu WR Julius Pruitt WR Andrell Smith LB Nathan Williams LB David Hinds FB Jorvorskie Lane  Terminated Contracts  G Lance Louis
