According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, Dolphins free agent acquisition RB Knowshon Moreno still “labors to walk,” despite the fact that he’s six weeks into what was expected to be a four-to-five month recovery from offseason knee surgery. Moreno was reportedly sporting ice packs on both of his knees Friday and it appears as though he may not play in even a single preseason game. “I don’t know. I don’t know. I really don’t even know,” said Moreno of playing in at least one preseason game. “I just want to take each day one at a time. They have a schedule for me and they’re just going to tell me every day what I have to do, and I just go out there and do it.” Reports from Dolphins’ camp have said that Lamar Miller has put together a strong training camp up this point, so it’s hard to imagine him not being the team’s No. 1 running back at the start of the season.  HC Joe Philbin did express some optimist that Moreno could step in and pick things up much quicker than a younger player based on the fact that he’s a veteran player. “I don’t have a great familiarity with him as a player, so it’s hard for me to project that,” Philbin said. “I think it’s better that he’s a veteran and has played a lot of football. I think it’s a little bit easier for a guy like that to get right back into the thick of things.” Moreno, 26, signed a one-year, $3 million contract that included $1.25 million guaranteed with the Dolphins back in late March. He’s coming off of an impressive 2013 season in which he ran for 1,039 yards on 242 carries (4.3 YPC) while catching 60 passes for 548 yards receiving and scoring 13 total touchdowns.   The post Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno Could Miss The Preseason appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
