According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, there haven't been any talks between Leach and the Dolphins this week. However, the team still is considered frontrunners for the fullback's services. Talks are expected to resume once general manager Jeff Ireland is back in the office this week. Josh Alper of Profootballtalk.com writes: 'Presumably, the Dolphins are looking to sign Leach to a one-year deal and, since Leach remains unsigned, we can also surmise that none of the other teams who have been linked to him have decided to offer multiple years. Leach doesn’t have much to lose by waiting to see if anyone does decide to go the extra mile in their offer since he can’t work with his new team until camp, so it may just be a waiting game to see if anyone blinks before Leach winds up taking a one-year deal.'
