Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports that the Dolphins have tendered offers to exclusive rights free agents WR Armon Binns and LB Jonathan Freeny
According to Pelissero, Binns receives a base salary of $495,000 for the 2014 and LB Jonathan Freeny will make $570,000.
Binns, 24, signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Cincinnati back in 2011. He was later claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins in December of 2012. He appeared in 10 games for Miami during the 2012 season, but unfortunately suffered a torn ACL and MCL during the Dolphins’ training camp and subsequently missed the entire 2013 season
Freeny, 24, signed with he Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers in 2011. He played 26 defensive snaps last year, but managed to contribute 10 tackles on special teams.
