Lance Alstodt won $1 million back in 1997 at the NFL Pro Bowl, when he kicked a 35-yard field goal in a halftime contest. If you have ever been to an NFL game, there are contests like this all the time, and most of the time, people miss from even closer in. In fact, the [...]

Calling our shots: week two

Fantasy football can at times be a very funny place to seek help when you need it most. One week, a so called “expert” will tell you to start “Player A” because “Player A” is a “can’t miss” starter who will blow up that week. A week later, that expert will deny giving that advice to their readers or followers but will be more than happy to tell you to start ...

Terrible Dolphins halftime idea trending on Twitter

The Miami Dolphins probably have the worst PR team in the NFL as it seems they just can’t keep the team out of the tabloids. This afternoon ProFootballTalk.com reported the Dolphins plan on holding a pretty much impossible halftime contest offering $10,000 to a lucky fan if they are able to hit a 60 yard field goal. Most NFL kickers can’t kick it from 60 yards yet...

Do Dolphins have tools to fix woes in red zone?

DAVIE, Fla. In todays NFL, its tough to score in the red zone the area inside the opponents 20-yard line without some basic weapons. Heres the checklist: a head-banging running back, a space-clearing tight end, a wide receiver who can go up and get the ball, a crafty quarterback who is proficient at throwing the fade or the back-shoulder pass, and an offensive line that can...

Dolphins rule Daniel Thomas out with a concussion

Daniel Thomas is the Dolphins’ 2nd string running back and is the type of player who could have a big role on a weekly basis, depending on the matchup, because of how much the Dolphins like to run. They only got the run 19 times in the opener, 2 of which were quarterback scrambles, because they were down by so much, so Thomas only had 3 carries. He did catch a catch for 32 yards...

NFL News: Have Politics Entered the Miami Dolphins Arena This Election Cycle?

Anyone watching television in the last few months is well aware of the fact there is a Presidential election looming on the horizon. Then again, that depends what programing you are watching. The Miami Dolphins have suffered local blackout issues in recent years after fielding underachieving teams. The NFL offered up teams a new deal which allowed the blackout restrictions to be...

Dolphins RB Thomas out with concussion

Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas did not practice Friday and was listed on the team's injury report as out against the Oakland Raiders with a concussion. Thomas was injured in the season opener at the Houston Texans. That means Reggie Bush should get the bulk of the carries for an otherwise inexperienced Miami backfield. Defensive tackle Tony McDaniel (knee) is also out on Sunday.

Concussion sidelines Dolphins' Thomas

Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Oakland because of a concussion, leaving the team with little experience behind starter Reggie Bush.

Oakland Raiders at Miami Dolphins Week 2 NFL Preview

Brett Davis- US Presswire The offense was horrendous, putrid and every other hanus word that is in the dictionary.Yes, I stated that in my recent power rankings, and it should be stated that Darren McFadden hauled in 13 passes in the home loss. Carson Palmer was abysmal although the number won’t state such, but it didn’t help matters that their top targets were inactive. Darius...
