Dominic Rhodes of the Florida Tuskers and Cory Ross of the Sacramento Mountain Lions, two of the United Football League's top running backs, were named UFL co-Offensive Players of Week 9.
Sacramento defensive end Eric Moncur earned UFL Defensive Player of the Week honors, and Florida Tuskers kicker Nick Novak is the league's Special Teams Player of the Week.
Ross set the league record for longest run from scrimmage with a 75-yard touchdown jaunt in the Mountain Lions 41-3 home win against the Omaha Nighthawks. Ross ended the night with 125 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 11 carries, and added 6 catches for 39 yards. The UFL rushing leader in 2009, Ross boasts a league-high 56 catches in 2010.
