On SportsTalk Live, Duane Brown (turf toe) says he’s a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. #Texans
— Dave Zangaro (@DZangaro) September 17, 2013
According to Duane Brown today on CSN SportsTalk Live he is dealing with a turf toe injury that will make him a game time decision against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday. Brown looked to have been dealing with an ankle injury suffered against the Tennessee Titans, but he came back to finish the game on Sunday despite the tweak to his ankle.
Now the turf toe issue is a new story and it puts Brown’s status in question. This could be a possible issue for Brown’s recent struggles trying to anchor against defensive ends. Brown has given up three sacks in the first two games of the season, and there seems to be a real issue for current issues.
Getting Brown healthy is key for the Texans success and if he can not play against the Ravens, expect Ryan Harris to take his place at left tackle.
