Fantasy Football Champs:
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, who signed a one-year franchise deal at the end of last week, is expected to get his first game action on Friday night, according to coach Romeo Crennel.Fantasy Spin:Bowe is trying to learn the new offense installed by offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and this is the first sign that he's getting a good grasp of the system. Bowe caught 81 balls last year, for 1,159 yards and five touchdowns and will be a top fantasy receiver again this season.

Matt Cassel can be a serviceable NFL starting quarterback, maybe even an above average one. But he has to be surrounded by some big-time, play-making weapons.
That's why Cassel, the Chiefs' starting quarterback, is doing all he can to get wide receiver Dwayne Bowe back into the mix of the new Chiefs' offense.
Bowe returned to practice in full pads Tuesday after signing...
The 2012 Kansas City Chiefs are about to test their depth on defense much sooner than they would like.On Monday August 20th, Kansas City linebacker Tamba Hali was suspended for one game for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.Instead of getting a four-game suspension, Hali will only miss one game. He will also not be paid for two games. When deciding punishment, commissioner...
According to Adam Teicher of The Kansas City Star, Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel has indicated that wide receiver Dwayne Bowe will play in this week’s preseason.

My guess is that Bowe’s reps will be limited since he missed the first weeks of training camp while holding out.
1: Kansas City Chiefs2011 was a lost year for Kansas City, as they saw three of their best players (safety Eric Berry, running back Jamaal Charles and tight end Tony Moeaki) go down with season ending injuries early in the year. They later lost starting quarterback Matt Cassell in week 10 for the remainder of the season and saw head coach Todd Haley get fired late in the season....
In todays NFL, it’s rare to find a franchise-type player/perennial Pro Bowler play at such a high level while keeping an incredibly low profile. Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali has always been that diamond in the rough — both on and off the field — but for the first time in his career, he’s making off-the-field headlines for the wrong reasons.
Hali, currently 28-years...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Matt Cassel took the snap from center, scanned the practice field as he dropped back to pass and just for a moment must have felt like a little boy on Christmas morning.
There was Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles coming out of the backfield and Dwayne Bowe heading for the sideline. Dexter McCluster was out in the flat, tight end Kevin Boss was coming over...
The Chiefs have one of the best pass rushers in the league, Tamba Hali, but he’s the only good pass rusher they’ve had for the past few years. Hali turned in another strong season in 2011, ranking 4th on ProFootballFocus among rush linebackers and producing 12 sacks, 10 quarterback hits, and 41 quarterback pressures on 459 pass rush snaps, good for a rate of 13.7%. However,...
Sequels are almost never as good as the first one and a title like “The Dependables 2: Offensive Line” could not possibly be as good as the first article “The Dependables”, but you watch them anyway or in this case read them, because it’s the most dependable offensive linemen in the history of the NFL. The third preseason game is when NFL coaches generally give their starters the most playing time, turning it into a de facto dress rehearsal for the regular season.
That probably won't be the case when the Seahawks visit the Chiefs on Friday night.
Rookie quarterback Russell Wilson will start for the Seahawks, a clear signal he's getting serious consideration from coach...
