Greetings Eagles fans, I just wanted to take a moment to announce that Eagles Addict has a new writer on board. His name is Kevin Powell.
Kevin is third generation Eagles fan that resides in Connecticut, but still bleeds Eagles green! He’s a die-hard and loves learning and talking about the team.
He is learning to be a student of the game and his goal is to provide you with some All-22 game tape reviews of the Eagles during the season. In fact, his first posting just went up today where he breaks down Cedric Thornton’s performance in Week 2 of the preseason…
Cedric Thornton Preseason Game 2 Tape Review
Not too shabby, I’d say!
After reading that, you may be surprised to find out that this is Kevin’s very first attempt at putting together an article. He’s a natural! We can look forward to more posts like this from Kevin throughout the season.

Here’s a nice little GIF (via @8bitSports) that shows just how tough it can be to track and bring down Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy. In their Thursday win against the Carolina Panthers, McCoy managed to evade at least 5 defenders on this 21-yard run.
Coming off his best performance in the preseason, quarterback Michael Vick still won't allow himself the luxury of relaxing. One can suspect that deep down inside the competitor wanted the QB situation settled way before now, but it says something about the 33-year-old Vick's maturity.
The Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback job is Michael Vick's to lose.
Philly.com's Jimmy Kempski tweeted Saturday that the veteran passer took the lion's share of first-team reps in Saturday's practice with Nick Foles settling in with the second unit.
As SiriusXM NFL Radio's Adam Caplan notes it's the first time we've seen such a clear distinction...
Eagles beat writer Jimmy Kempski reports that quarterback Michael Vick took almost all the first team reps on Saturday.Fantasy Spin:Vick is just the best fit for Chip Kelly's offense. On Thursday he was better at getting the ball downfield than Nick Foles or Matt Barkley and he's certainly better in the read option portion of the offense. It didn't hurt that Vick went...
Tim Tebow does not play for the Philadelphia Eagles. He never has and he probably never will, but you know how fans can be. Or should I say, you know how Tebowmaniacs can be. Tebowmania has quieted down a bit since his failed season with the New York Jets, but his dedicated fans remain as […]
I'm enjoying the prolonged honeymoon period of the Chip Kelly era far more than I thought I would. This little weekend lull after a Thursday night PS game is a good time to reflect on progress made so far.
Maybe it's because the weather outside today is quite lovely in the Delaware Valley (apologies to our fans in Idaho right now, who are really up against it with huge...
These players stocks have changed lately for better or worse for the 2013 NFL fantasy football season:

Vick looked sharp in the preseason opener last week. The preseason doesn't mean much, but for Vick it does. He is battling for the starting quarterback position in Philadelphia and it looks like it's his job...
A month into training camp and excitement within the Eagles organization is at an all-time high, maybe it's because they finally know who they want leading their team? Here's the Eagles' Week 4 Training Camp Report:1. Eagles Sign Ex-Oregon Duck, WR Jeff Maehl While Chip Kelly did bring in another player he had a hand in coaching, I wouldn't expect Maehl to make the...

The offense can put up points, regardless of who’s playing.
Nick Foles starts every game with a #smh Keystone Kops type flub (Week 1: strip sack. Week 2: throwing a pick in the endzone. I shudder to think what will happen next week). Fortunately, he seems able to shake it off.
The very mention of “special teams”...
