I'm enjoying the prolonged honeymoon period of the Chip Kelly era far more than I thought I would. This little weekend lull after a Thursday night PS game is a good time to reflect on progress made so far. Maybe it's because the weather outside today is quite lovely in the Delaware Valley (apologies to our fans in Idaho right now, who are really up against it with huge wildfires), and there's still a little afterglow from the overall positive gains shown against the Panthers, but I'm feeling a new confidence in the Chip Kelly method. I was trying to come up with a fresh angle on where we are as both a team and a fan base right now. I was sitting out on the covered deck with the local FM "Sounds of the Late '60's" show on the Bose radio. I like to catch that show on Saturdays---mostly because on the Bose I am hearing these classic songs as if for the first time.  For example, who knew there was an accordion part buried in the track of Aerosmi...
