Geoff Mosher of CSN reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have interest in Dolphins free agent CB Sean Smith. Mosher adds that their interest would only be at “their price.“ Smith is one of the more interesting free agents, as he offers plenty of size and could develop into a very solid player in the coming years. The problem is that he’s raw and some reports have mentioned that teams like the Dolphins are concerned about his commitment to progressing after signing a big contract. He’s reportedly a candidate for the Dolphins franchise tag, but the odds are against him being tagged in the next few days. He’s believed to be targeting a deal that would include as much $24 million guaranteed. The Eagles could really use some help at cornerback. There’s already been talk that Nnamdi Asomugha won’t be back next season unless he’s willing to take a pay cut and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will be a free agent next month. We have Smith listed as the No. 45 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list. The post Eagles Could Target CB Sean Smith In Free Agency appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
