Eagles GM Howie Roseman
Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman spoke to three reporters on Thursday about a range of issues, from the free agency to the draft to DeSean to Asante Samuel. Jonathan Tamari wrote about the conversation on behalf of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
His comments on DeSean Jackson werevery complimentary:
“We feel fortunate to have a player of DeSean Jackson’s magnitude on our football team and I think the future is bright for DeSean Jackson.”
Could these remarks indicate that the Eagles may indeed keep Jackson? Or, are they what one should expect to hear from a GM likely about to place a franchise tag, seeking to ultimately trade that player to another team?
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
