NFL Trade Rumors:
Eagles HC Chip Kelly seemed to suggest Monday that QB Nick Foles will remain as the Eagles starter moving forward.
“16 touchdowns, no interceptions,” Kelly said . “Why would we change?”
This doesn’t come as much of a surprise given that Foles has been piling up touchdown passes in each of the past two weeks. In fact, Foles currently leads the NFL in quarterback rating with 132.5 and has also amassed 16 total touchdowns without throwing an interception in seven appearances.
Reports over the weekend suggested that Michael Vick is still a few weeks away from returning, but at this point in time it’s fair to wonder whether or not Vick will get another shot at starting before he’s a free agent after the season.

At this rate, Nick Foles is going to be the first quarterback inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame before he’s named a starter.
OK, we’re exaggerating. A little. But Chip Kelly continues to decline to name Foles his permanent starter, and Foles continues to put up remarkable numbers.
On Sunday at Lambeau, Foles wasn’t at his best.
He underthrew DeSean Jackson on a...
The Philadelphia Eagles sit at 5-5 after another electrifying performance from Nick Foles who was again extremely sharp against the wounded Packers.
Foles finished 12-18 for 228 yards and three touchdowns, while looking poised and efficient from the pocket. Eagles star running back was asked to describe the kind of zone Foles is in right now.
LeSean McCoy on Nick Foles: "If...
Nick Foles has the offense back on track. Billy Davis has the defense improving every week. Chip Kelly has the whole team in playoff contention.
Thanks to a mediocre NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) have a chance to go worst-to-first in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year. A convincing 27-13 win at Green Bay over the Packers minus Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, coupled with...
Nick Foles continues to make his case to be the Philadelphia Eagles’ next franchise quarterback. After his historic performance in Week 9, he followed that up by completing 12 of 18 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns against the Packers in Week 10. Two road victories, 10 touchdowns, over 600 yards passing and no interceptions…not too shabby for two weeks worth of NFL...

The Eagles got the job done again in a much needed game to keep their season alive. The Eagles traveled to Lambeau Field this afternoon to clash off against the Aaron Rodger-less Packers. In what seemed to be a trap game to many Eagles fans, the team came out strong showing much poise and confidence right from the get-go.
The Eagles offense got on the field first and Nick Foles wasted...
Nick Foles deferred a question about the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback job to his head coach.
Foles keeps making resounding statements on the field.
A week after tying the NFL record by passing for seven TDs, Foles connected for three long scores and Philadelphia pulled way for a 27-13 victory Sunday over the injury-ravaged Green Bay Packers.
The purpose behind Quick Hits is to catch you up on the most important news, notes, and links that you may have missed from the day prior. Without further ado, here are Tuesday’s quick hits:
1. In a joking manner, Chip Kelly signaled that Nick Foles would be the starter for the rest of the season. However, Kelly later stated that he was just being sarcastic.
2. Earl Wolff, one...
Everything about this game screams trap game for the Eagles. Seneca Wallace starting. Playing in Green Bay. Clay Matthews returning.
Yet, I can’t look away from the Eagles. I think the Birds win a close game behind the arm of Nick Foles.
Eagles win, 28-24
I was pumped when it turned out the Eagles wouldn’t have to face Aaron Rodgers. For some reason...

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers 27-13 to even their record to 5-5 and now hold a tie with the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East.
The Eagles played a strong game offensively and showed up for the most part on defense. This was not quite the Eagles most dominant game, but offensively, they had perhaps their best possession of the season to finish the...
Plenty of stupidity to discuss coming out of the 10th Sunday of the 2013 NFL regular season. The stupidest non-challenge This is definitive proof that Jarrett Boykin's left hand touched down out of bounds before he got both feet in on what was ruled a 36-yard completion in the second quarter of a seven-point game against the Philadelphia Eagles. FOX offered half a...
