Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has suffered a concussion, and he's out for the rest of the day against the Cowboys.
Philadelphia rookie backup Nick Foles has entered the game in his place. In his first series, the team went three-and-out.
Vick was hit by Cowboys linebacker Alex Albright after releasing the ball on his final play before heading to the sideline, but it didn't seem like a bad injury at the time. Vick had been hit a few times on Sunday, but the Eagles didn't allow a sack while he was in.
Fox is reporting that when Vick fell to the ground after the Albright hit, his helmet hit him in the eye and he lost vision. Source: CBS Sports Attached Thumbnails

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to start rookie quarterback Nick Foles in their week 11 match up against the Redskins.
This is not a surprise since Vick suffered a concussion during yesterday’s game and now there’s a report that the Eagles might “rest” him for the remainder of the season.

23-year-old Nick Foles now has the opportunity of a lifetime--- a starting QB gig in the NFL. It's an amazing development, considering previous QB#1 Mike Vick had taken a huge beating at the hands of opposing defensive pressures, but was not knocked out on a TKO until Sundays' tough loss against Dallas.
