For some reason, teams were interested in dumping receivers more than players at any other position at the trade deadline. Of course Brandon Lloyd was traded, but according to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, other receivers who were available include Eddie Royal from the Broncos, Louis Murphy from the Raiders and Steve Smith from the Eagles. Kyle Boller dropped back on Oakland's first series and threw a pass to the left sideline that Kendrick Lewis intercepted and returned for a touchdown. Carson Palmer did the same to the right side to Brandon Flowers in the fourth quarter.
